Raw Carrot Salad for Hormones + Gut Health

A raw carrot salad eaten daily can help your liver and GI tract to detox excess estrogen and endotoxins.

This can result in less pms symptoms, menstrual cramps, better digestion, less headaches and migraines, help thyroid function, lower inflammation, reduce gut endotoxins, and increase metabolism.

The raw carrot soluble fiber bounds to estrogen and carries it out of the body safely and effectively.

Excess estrogen is one of the leading reasons for common symptoms like menstrual cramps, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, and more.

Of course, a raw carrot a day may not “cure” your hormonal imbalance but it can sure help.

We can thank Dr. Ray Peat for this simple combo of a shredded carrot, coconut oil, vinegar and sea salt, that helped thousands of women (and men!) experience better digestion and a major reduction in estrogen accumulation issues.

Eating it Consistently and Daily Is Ideal For Best Results.

Recipe:

  • 1-2 shredded carrots (or ribboned)

  • 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil or MCT oil (this is anti-bacterial)

  • Splash of apple cider vinegar

  • pinch of sea salt

Mix and enjoy!

If you wish to make a big batch then shred/ribbon the carrot then submerge in filtered water in a tubberware. When you are ready to eat then take the portion you wish out of the tubberware and dress it with the oil, salt, and ACV.
