Ultimate Chia Seed Pudding Recipe

I am a huge fan of chia seed pudding. I’ve been making them as a snack for over 10 years now. Leaving it in my teacher’s mini fridge in high school and classmates wondering what the F is that.

Chia seeds are great! They are full of antioxidants and contain some minerals like zinc, magnesium, and phosphorus. They also contain vitamin B1 and B3.

One of the best things about chia seeds are the high fiber content.

The average American consumes far less fiber than they need to. ne ounce (28 grams) of chia seeds has close to 10 grams of dietary fiber.

Chia seeds may also reduce blood sugar levels. Although more human studies are needed, I believ its the low carbohydrate and high fiber content that makes this seed so incredible.

I like to up my chia seed pudding with some hemp seeds.

Hemp seeds are great because they add protein, and more nutrients to my pudding.

Hemp seeds contain magnesium, manganese, B vitamins, zinc, iron, and vitamin E. The brand of hemp hearts that I love is Eaton Hemp. This company is very transparent as they have their hemp lab results on their website. Use this link for 20% off.

Both of these seeds also contain Omega 3s!

One important thing to note on seeds is that they should be stored correctly to prevent oxidation.

** Always store your seeds in an air-tight jar and in the fridge.
